that this square, which I propose should be called Royal

Square, may be completed and form as I have no doubt it

will one of the most ornamental features of this City. I

may add that the wish that this area should be laid out as

a garden has been frequently pressed upon this Government

by the community both through the medium of the local

press and through the Unofficial members of Legislative

Council.
